I can’t imagine what’s going on in those churches this morning-you know the ones. It’s almost enough to make me contemplate a little
spectator sport organized religion today.
I spent yesterday in a panic, clutching all my jewels and wondering which push-up bra would look better with angel wings. Alas, a wasted day. Though I now know which bra sets off my figure to it’s best advantage.
Are they sad this morning? Or doing their normal rationalization? Apparently many true believers gave away their money, left jobs and made other ‘faith-based’ decisions in order to be prepared. I don’t know how they’re feeling right about know but for the rest of us this is an exercise in rational thought.
Me? I’m an optimist. I’m looking for the:
Why am I worrying about wedding dresses when the chances are good that I’ll be leaving the planet tomorrow. Really. (I was writing about wedding dresses for another site just this week, I’m not getting married)
What I need to be doing is getting my playlist ready. Theoretically the chosen ones will be leaving on the 21st and everyone else will wait in some kind of tortured hell til October when the fire begins. I’d probably be happier with those who’re still here on Sunday than I would up there in heaven with all the goodie two shoes. Think of the fun we’d have.
